Johannes Vermeer is acknowledged as one of the greatest painters in the Dutch Golden age. Johannes
Vermeer born in 1632, Delft, the Netherlands is well known for his baroque arts
painting styles. His famous master pieces “Milkmaid” and “Girl with the Pearl Earring”
can be admired at the Mauritshuis in the Hague and has been inspired by many
artist. Film director, Mr. Peter Webber was one of them, fictionalizing the
circumstances of the painting’s creation through a movie “Girl with a Pearl Earring”
The movie tells a story about a young peasant maid working
in the house of painter Johannes Vermeer who becomes his talented assistant and
the model for one of his most famous works of all times “Girl with a Pearl Earring”
